    Title: Black Sheep
    Author: henriette
    Rating: T
    Category: General/Drama
    Status: WIP, very slow updates
    Pairing: ?
Summary: Her it is folks. Dark!Harry. Harry is spared by Voldemort and is nothing like the child of two light wizards. He is rebellious and feels he doesn’t fit in the perfect family Potter picture. Join him at Hogwarts as the public draws conclusions about why

All of this girl's fics feature goth Slytherin sarcastic Harry, getting chummy with Malfoy (what did you expect, she IS a girl, thus obsessed with Ferret & Snape). Still they are all rather interesting to read (save for one angst/slash), often very funny and with a lot of Weasley & Hermione bashing.

This one is the best by my oppinion. Harry is goth angsty kid totaly sly and manipulative. His character is really great.

The problem is there's no good motivation for any of this. He's acting like a jerk towards James & Sirius (who are alive in this story, it being AU and all) for no particular reason at all.

Still, it's rather fun fic. Read her other stories too, they are all quite entartaining.

I just read it, and I can safely say IP82 has done a good job in finding this fic. It's interesting, that's for sure, Harry isn't to my liking THAT much, but I haven't seen this done this well in a long time.

Of course, with only 4 chapters posted since last june,(2004) im completely in agreement to the fact that updates are slow. Incredibly so.

i like it... and I believe that in this situation Harry does have a reason to be a jerk towards James... he probably resents him for moving on after his mother died...

either way i think its decent... potential if itd be updated more often

I hate this story. Does the author realise Harry would be the equivalent of a sixth grader going into seventh, look at how he is cursing and acting. Any normal parent would have given him quite a good beating to stop that sh*t he is pulling. The feared four my ass! If I was in high school with them I would tax them weekly.

I have to agree. No eleven year old swears like this (at least in my country). Many authors seem to forget that a eleven year old child is unable to be a master assasin, gangruler, feared criminal or some other totally unrealistik stuff.

The problem with the slow update speed is because the guy is writing 6 stories at the moment....

I was at my friends house a while back, and his little brother (who's like 3 or 4) says to his stepmom, "Fuck you, bitch!" Of course, that's not normal. When I was 3 I thought that "stupid" was a bad word.

And I remember that I cursed a lot in junior high, everyone I knew did.

I guess we in good old Europe are simply much more intelligent and cultivated than you Americans :!:

I never swore like this and none of my friends does. I agree with Vash its all about edjucation and environment.

American and British children cuss plenty or never, it depends on the kid. Personally though, I don't think the kid cusses unrealistically.

The fact that her fics are shipless or slash, however, has lead me to not get attatched to the fic, as either option completely turns me off to a fic. It's nice, what's there though. And no reason is needed to hate James or Sirius. They suck.8)

New chapter was excellent, IMO. It's good to see that this isn't abandoned.

I like the story. It's good to see a Harry, who uses his brain not just do something impulsive.

Yeah that sounds like my family. And my friends families, and my friends friends families... Why the hell wasn't I told about all these stoners!!! If I knew I would have asked. And swore more around them I suppose.

  20. I think it's got potental. Granted there are some cleche's, but it's not a bad concept. What I really want to know is from you guys.

What is it about slash that squicks you guys and why? I can't figure it out. It's just like everything else, you have good and bad slash - just depends on the author.
