    Summary: Sometimes when you get a mysterious death, you need to send in a specialist. When that specialist is Harry Dresden, and he's sent to looking into the goings on of Tokyo-3, there's no telling what might happen.

    Initially caught my attention just for being of one of my favorite book series with one of my favorite animes, and being an odd enough combination to make me wonder how it could work. The fic actually does a good job of meshing the two universes together, and Harry manages to be his wonderfully snarky self while really throwing a spanner in the works of Gendo's plans.

    This is actually very good. The author managed to meld the two worlds together cleverly. Harry was appropriately witty but it isn't consistent - especially because the author changes from 1st person pov to 3rd person pov.

    I feel that quite a few of the NERV characters are taking a backseat description/characterization wise in favor of plot movement. For some that's a good thing, for me that leaves the story a little hollow. Lastly the story does suffer from telling not showing malaise.

    That said, it is really fun to see these two disparate verses joined. I would give a 5/5 for plot devices used to cross over the verses and 3.5 for the story-telling. I will definitely keep my eye on this.
