Apparently this was during Goblet of Fire so I think it predates DLP, but if anyone wants to come forward saying they knew Rowling was here (or are Rowling herself), now would be a hysterical time to do so.

 

I missed 'former' on my first readthrough and man my eyes fucking bugged.

 

Taure was JKR all along? On a slightly more serious note, if she had joined DLP I would not have been surprised by the same thing happening.

 

Presumably it was one of the big fan sites like Mugglenet, Leaky Cauldron, HPANA etc.

 

I'm interested in seeing what she said that invited such mad. It would be hilarious if she said something that was wrong per what was in the books lmao.

I am going to choose to believe she was posting about all the little lore tidbits didn't that she couldn't fit into the series and so remained unknown until social media came along, like wizards shitting themselves.

My favourite revelation would be that after the series she looked at the fanfic and was actually the Northumbrian or wrote on the way to greatness or something like that, just never stopped and started doing alternate takes on HP or post school fics.
