    Something that's continued to bother me about the new forums is the way Xenforo rounds thread ratings. Something at 4.79 will be rounded to 4.5 stars. Something that is 4.49 will be rounded down to 4 stars.

    I don't know how much control you have over XenForo, but I believe a system such as the following would give more information about the rating than the system present:

    4.75+ = 5
    4.25-4.74 = 4.5
    3.75-4.24 = 4.0
    etc.
