I'm so glad we had so many entries! It makes starting this up again worth it. Thank you so much for participating everyone! Feel free to claim your stories if you want credit and/or respond to comments in the threads before they are locked.

In the next couple of days (I'm waiting for the new forum to be created), I'll post a new poll to come up with this quarter's prompt. If you have ideas for prompts, feel free to post themhere.

I could be totally wrong, it wouldn't be the first time I screwed simple math up, but aren't Entries 1 and 5 tied for first on 13 points, with Entry #3 one point behind on 12?

 

Apparently I can't math. I did it twice and somehow ended up with 3 being wildly ahead for some reason. Fixed it.

 

You scared me enough to check my math three extra times, but then again I do have a vested interest.

#1 is mine. I'll probably do a longer post about it in its thread tomorrow morning when it isn't late. For now, I'll just bask in well-earned feelings of superiority.

This was an overall excellent competition and I was delighted to see so many entries.

 

#5 was mine! (#4 was also mine).

Thanks so much to Lindsey who got these comps moving again and to everyone who submitted and reviewed. The DLP comp is one of my favorite ways to read fanfic these days, because I feel like people really push themselves to turn out strong writing and original ideas. I love this community for providing quality fanfic and quality feedback, so thanks everyone.

 

Are the winners going to get their little star? They should, even if its a tie. Of course I understand the banner will stay with me, as it has been the case for the past 786 days (and counting). Like the Titan Atlas, I have come to accept that this burden will be mine to carry for the rest of eternity, but I can only hope one worthy Champion will emerge someday to release me from it.

 

I would like to twinkle.
