    Of course he won, Ochimaru tried to use an illusion/strange dimension thingy to take down a sharingan user!!!

    Also the new technique would be boring and pointless as an additive to the plot if it was an ultimate jutsu with no sideffects they may as well just give Naruto the ability to use all nine tails and not loose control...

    Yeah, but see... there's no reason at all to super Sasuke up any further .

    Might as well call the manga Sasuke and have him deal with Naruto's constant stupidity for a captivating plot. Much more interesting than the I-have-to-kill-my-brother-you-fucktard plotline we have now.

    Orochimaru was called a genius. He did know about the Sharingan and the abilities of Saskue. He did know that Itchi could stop his technique. He did know about the weakness of his technique.
    So why did he use it? Why didn't he weak Saskue with poison in the food? Why did he show so many skills to such a pupil?
    Sasuke could defeat Orochimaru against all odds, against his experience, against his knowledge that Sasuke would come. Sasukes only advantage was the weakenend state of Oro.
    So I wouldn't say "of course". For me it's not really clear what happened there.

    Pointless and Boring? I don't think so. The technique now seems weak but if Orochimaru had won, it would be cool...

    Pointless and Boring is something other. Namely the Sharingan. There is now ulimate jutsu... but it seems that there is an ultimate kekkai genkai. Where it the weakness? (And Itachi going blind is more like a weak excuse than a weakness!)
    The sharingan can copy ninjutus/taijutsu, dispell any genjutsu, hypnotise the opponents and suppress this little demon called Kyuubi. The improved version, the MS, can cast the most powerful genjutsu, the Tsukoyomi, has Amaterasu (flames which burn throught all) and this strange attack of Kakashi. Thats a bit much, don't you think?

    The sharingan seems to be the ultimate weapon. And that makes it boring.

    Kishimoto screwed up big time here. You don't become one of the most feared ninja around by making the same mistake twice. Saying "oh, well, Orochimaru was desperate" just doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

    Maybe he was just trying to establish old Ochy over confidence in his ability? Because he does afterall say 'I am immortal, I can't be killed' before he shows his white snake *smirk* and does it actually say that he used that same technique on Itachi?

    Yes, kishi did want to establish overconfidence. But it's done very badly. We never saw Oro this overconfident before. Why now? Just so that Sasuke has an excuse to defeat him?

    Th snake-technique? No. But the Genjutsu-Soul-Thing he had. This was used on Itachi as shown in a flashback.

    sigh.New chapter. Sasuke's making his own group now. I think they shall be dubbed Emo-tsuki. Or Icutmyselfandcryatnightgakure.

    Laaaame. As if there aren't enough groups running around in this damn manga.

    Anyway, what the hell was the point of that scene with Konohamaru? It even had Yaoi-themes. I didn't believe I'd actually dislike Sakura more, but this proved me wrong. The whole scene was... worthless. I guess there had to be something in there that's important. I guess Konohamaru knowing a forbidden technique is it. And Indo, don't even try argue. It's supposed to be forbidden, but I guess it isn't any more.

    And yes, maybe he copied Naruto.

    In all honesty.

    Point out one girl in Naruto that isn't 'good looking' to some extent. I stress the word girl, as in not old. Tsunade, the obvious exception. if I like Karin's character I am going to utilize her.

    The fish girl. That Hidden Star girl. Kurenai, since she looks like a man. That little girl that hangs with Konohamaru. Sakura is debatable, she looks weird in most of the drawings. Saskue.

    I guess it was mildly amusing, if you didn't know what would come of it in the fandom.

    Its a forum, but you don't have to be a member. Generally they post the new one pretty damn early. The only down side to this place is that NONE of them know how to speak. They're all illiterate pieces of monkey shit.
